About Us: 

Transparent Homeless Data equips municipalities with policies and strategies that reduce the length and breadth of street homelessness. We do this first through understanding, and then through offering step by step strategies to incrementally improve programs while prioritizing the health of the community.

Our goal is to significantly reduce street homelessness in the municipalities we serve and pioneer innovative solutions to appropriately serve each of the groups lumped into the amalgam of “homelessness” in the United States of America.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for leading research components of West Coast projects related to homelessness data collection, analysis, reporting, and innovative recommendations. 
  • Work closely with municipal, national, and non-profit service providers to meet project deliverables and timelines based on stated scope of work contracts. 
  • Develop resource materials of research findings, policy trends, demographic data, and financial audits and forecasts.  
  • Efficiently and effectively manage a pipeline of projects which may include local, regional, and state initiatives.  
  • Collaborate with researchers across the country.  
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to other team members working in support roles.

Preferred Candidates will readily demonstrate: 

  • Work and academic experience related to statistics, public records, financial audits, policy research and/or social service programming in homeless/shelter/housing/basic needs
  • Passion for research, data, analysis, and strategy
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field – please describe this fully.

Additional Information

The State of Texas is at employment at will state.  Any job offer and acceptance is an at will contract between Transparent Homeless Data and you as an individual employee; and can be terminated at any time for any reason.  There is no contractual obligation now or in the future, expressed or implied, of future or continued employment.  

The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. During this period, both the organization and you will determine whether you can perform the requirements of the job you have been assigned. Near the end of this probation, we will assess your performance in the form of a standard review.
